He loves to lay on his toy mat and look at the toys above him. He is learning to swing his little arms at them. Christian loves to listen to music. I dance with him around the living room to Jazz for Kids.

9: Flying Fists
Christian is now holding onto toys and swinging them around. I don't think he realizes he has them in his hands. He has discovered his hands. He likes to put them in his mouth. Or he stares at them.

He loves to lay on his toy mat and look at the toys above him. He is learning to swing his little arms at them. Christian loves to listen to music. I dance with him around the living room to Jazz for Kids.

8: Fits of Laughter & After a bath
Christian looks just like Richard, but with red hair and dimple in his chin.
He loves to look at everything. And he prefers to sit up. He has a double chin and is working on adding a third. He's a strong little guy. He pushes on me with his legs to be lifted higher and he pulls on my hair. He holds his head up with no help (unless he's tired).

7: The Grandparents Invasion
My parents, my grandparents from Tennessee and my Granny's best friend Lois came to visit Christian.

Christian loved watching Great-Papa Walt.
Christian adored listening to Papa Steve and walking around with him.

Christian fell asleep so easily in Grandma Bonnie's arms.

He was so content being held by Great-Granny Betty.
He laughed in Grandma Lois's embrace.
Christian was spoiled by these five wonderful people.
Christian smiles and laughs all the time. He loves to listen to people talk to him. He enjoys when you sing songs to him. And he is fascinated by the moving fish on his swing. He is so happy and wonderful.
I also took Christian to work this week. He was passed from person to person. He soaked up all the attention.

It's a Miracle!
Christian slept for seven hours straight last night! Too bad I didn't realize he was going to do this until three hours had already passed! Still five hours of straight, uninterrupted sleep!! It was wonderful!

Christian is definately getting heavier and chubbier.
We went to St. Cloud Hospital on Wednesday to see Great-Grandpa Dick, who just had brain surgery. Christian tried to cheer him up with adorable little smiles and cooing noises.
Christian has taken to waking up at 3:30 am every morning. After an hour of wonderful smiles, I can rock him back to sleep, thwarting his plans for world domination before breakfast.

My Little Angel...
...let me sleep 4.5 hours straight last night! He slept for 5.5 hours. It's a miracle. I'm sure it's a one time thing, but I'm going to bask in all its hope!
Thank you, Christian.
